ROSE GORAN It is with great sadness that the family of Rose Goran announces her peaceful passing on July 21, 2016 after a brief illness. Rose will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Debbie and son-in-law Kevin, grandchildren Kyle (Alyson), Erin (Steven), and siblings Sylvia, Anne, Bert, and Don. She was predeceased by her husband Wally, and sisters Mabel and Eleanor. Rose was well loved by everyone who met her and put her heart into everything she did. She was an amazing cook (whose recipes will live on), a smart business woman (owning and operating several hotels with her husband), and loved nothing more than to spend time with family enjoying a meal and a glass of wine. Rose's pride and joy were her two grandchildren, Kyle and Erin, who she helped shape into the wonderful people they are today. A mass in memory of Rose will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church (3597 Main Street, West St. Paul), where Rose was an active member. A luncheon will follow at Glen Eden Funeral Home (4477 Main Street, West St. Paul). A special thanks to her sister Sylvia for always being a phone call away, and her friend Claudette for lending a helping hand. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the hospital staff at Seven Oaks and the palliative care team for the excellent care Rose received in her final weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Palliative Manitoba. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111

Rose was such a beautiful, kind-hearted woman and it was always a joy to be in her presence. She was a spirited lady, full of energy; with a zest for Life. All who had the priviledge to know her, knew just how special this lady was. She always shined her Love on all those she met. She was an angel here on this earth and now our Angel in Heaven. Next to our own mothers, she was like a mother to us and we will miss her tremendously. Our Love and prayers to Debbie, Kevin, Allison, Kyle, Erin, Steven and all of Rose's family. Be at Peace for Wally and Rose are together again! - Posted by: Don & Cheri Kasianchuk and family (close friends) on: Jul 23, 2016
