EILEEN ELIZABETH JORDAN MITCHELL (nee BAIN) After fighting such a courageous battle, Eileen Elizabeth Jordan Mitchell (nee Bain) passed away peacefully on July 24, 2016. Mom was born November 17, 1935, and is survived by her son (William/Lise), daughter (Joy/Robert), granddaughter (Alisha) and her son-in-law (Jeffery). She was predeceased by her husband William in 1993. A celebration of Mom's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 (viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m.) at the Thomson Funeral Chapel at 669 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB. In lieu flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 0V9. A very special thanks to all of the staff at the Poseidon Care Centre and the Riverview Health Centre for taking such good care of Mom.
