He leaves behind his beloved wife Ruth and children Marion (Mike), Glen (Lisa), George and Grant (Lori) as well as four grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A memorial reception will take place on Friday, August 5, 2016, from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715

I know I didn't know you very well but I love you grandpa, after the past couple weeks I spent time with you and it was the best time getting to know your stories and all the things you went through in your childhood, feeding you ice chips and you always knowing how to make me laugh, or kissing me on the cheeks saying I love you meant the world to you, I will miss you forever and I love you so much thankyou for listening to me and making it so memorable.
