FRED RESTIAUX November 26, 1937 - July 26, 2016 Fred passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital early Tuesday morning, at the age of 78. Fred worked for Monarch Marking Systems for 33 years, and during those early years enjoyed hunting and fishing, and later enjoyed motorcycles, riding with the "Geritol Angels". His other great passion was classic cars. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother George. Fred is survived by extended family, siblings: Linda, Cecile and Sonny Restiaux, also Cecile, Carol and Gilles Daigle. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Gail and son Gil (Brenda). In compliance with Fred's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Fred may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. Maurice never had the opportunity to meet Fred, but they have spoken on the phone and corresponded by old fashioned mail.   • Sincere condolences on Fred's passing.....I just recently heard he had been at Tache Center and had planned on visiting him there. I have tried to contact Gail...Fred was Loved so much by My Mum...Josephine..he dedicated much of his time to her care...She was always excited to see him. She will be welcoming Fred with open arms.
