Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNARD GERALD MCVARISH March 2, 1931 August 2, 2016 The family of Bernard Gerald McVarish are saddened to announce his passing on August 2, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Betty, son Gary (Teri Corcoran), Geoff and Kait, daughter Deb Hnatiw (Bill), Heather Wassing (Chad) and Ben, and son Darcy, (Colleen), Alex and Tyler. He was Papa to great-grandchildren Lily and Jack Wassing. He is also survived by his brother Dennis (Olga) and sister Evelyn Combaz. Barney was a very creative soul. He always had a pencil in hand, drawing plants and flowers or designing a woodworking project. He was a Legion member for over 50 years and a past member of the Saint Sebastian Archery Club. His favourite place for almost 40 years was camp' at Sandhill Pines RV Park. At Barney's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the WRHA Palliative Care Program.

So sorry to hear of Barney's passing... We remember the fun times we had with you two.. especially our trip to your 'camp' way back when. I still have drawings Barney made on the back of a "coaster" from the Belgian Club. Hope you are still well Betty..
