Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAUREEN IDA TARIO (nee COOPER) September 9, 1935 July 31, 2016 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, aunt and friend, Maureen Tario, on Sunday July 31, 2016, in her 81st year. Maureen married her best friend and buddy, Gordon Tario, September 5, 1959. Maureen was predeceased by her husband Gordon Tario (2004) and her parents Stanley and Irene Cooper. Maureen leaves behind her sister Glenda (Ken Blatz), nephews Mark (Corinne), Kevin (Danielle), Ryan (Kelly), niece Kristin (Dan Whittaker) and their children KJ, Daniel and Emily, sisters-in-law Cecile Tario and Barbara Tario, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Maureen attended school at Katrime, MB and graduated high school in MacGregor, MB. Maureen was employed by MTS for 30 plus years when she retired in 1991. Many years were spent vising various locations with their small trailer enjoying their love of nature, birds and animals. They made a permanent summer home in the Brokenhead River Trailer Park enjoying the water and campfires with family and friends. They made many trips to the East and West coast, and as far north as Alaska and wintering Florida and Texas. Thank you Dr. M. Fournier and the staff of the CCDU - Health Sciences Centre and doctors and staff at Riverview Palliative Care Unit for their kind and compassionate care. Cremation and private family interment has taken place Thursday, August 4, 2016. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society or Salvation Army in Maureen's name. I have many happy memories that I shared with Maureen on our bus trip to Nashville. She was the greatest roommate I could have had. I will miss her upbeat, cheerful personality. I know that you all will truly miss her. - Posted by: Trudy Davies (Friend) on: Aug 07, 2016
