My sincere condolences. I had met Solly once when William introduced me to him way back in 1992. He was a big man. Hand shake was soft but he held high. Great man. He surely will be missed by all. I will continue to pray for the family to have strength and find comfort in one another as their dear father, uncle, friend and brother go on his journey home. God has gained an Angel. Much love (((hugs))) William.. - Posted by: Ginger Panacheese (friend) on: Aug 14, 2016

It's hard to find the words to express the emotions when someone you care about leaves this life. I am going to miss Solly for many reasons. For the fun times with he and Lorraine, for his calm demeanor, his humour, kindness, fellowship and his continued passion for living right to the day he passed. He just kept checking off that bucket list like the Energizer Bunny. That's an incredible inspiration to me. As I read Solly's obituary I am overwhelmed by the sheer adversity he came up against and his stalwart determination to thrive. His journey to success is palpable. And his social skills were pretty good, too, I see. So Solly, I know you're at peace – because you planned it :) Seriously, so many miss you deeply already. As I go to say rest in peace, I wonder...hmm, will Solly choose to rest peacefully? Or is he going to be putzin' around heaven doing his thing? I have a feeling about that one. Love you cousin... - Posted by: Elaine Morrison (Cousin (My mother Margaret is Lorraine's father Elmer's younger sister) ) on: Aug 10, 2016
