DIANA LAUREL ETHEL COLESHILL May 26, 1945 - August 4, 2016 Diana, our dear sister, sister-in-law, peacefully passed away after her courageous fight with diabetes and other health issues at Victoria Hospital. Diana was predeceased by her father and mother in 2000 and 1978, and her best friend Barbara Hopper in 1995. She leaves behind rest of her family, brothers Bryan (Joan), Kenneth (Lorene), nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She also leaves behind her special friends Bruce and Patty Hobson, their children whom she helped care for. The support of her church "The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints" and all the volunteers who have offered Diana spiritual comfort and companionship throughout the years. Diana had a heart of gold. She worked for Misericordia Hospital, as well as Family Services working with children. She enjoyed the work she did. She made numerous toys for the children in her life. She loved to knit and crochet until she could no longer, due to arthritis in her hands. While she lived in Beausejour she raised dogs, sometimes feeding them for weeks with an eye dropper to make sure they survived. The family wishes heartfelt thanks to the 2nd floor staff at Vista Park Lodge PCH, who took wonderful care of Diana for five years. Also the staff at Victoria Hospital who cared for Diana in the final week of her life. Memorial service will be held in celebration of Diana's life on August 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 45 Dalhousie Dr., Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diana's name to the Diabetes Society or the Humane Society.
