LORNA ROSE THOMAS Lorna Rose Thomas born December 9, 1932 passed away at Betel Care Home on August 16, 2016, to be present with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was predeceased by her parents, Roland and Dorothy Gorse; also sister Dorothy and spouse Bruce McLeary, Ruth and spouse Harold Street, Roger Gorse spouse Dora and brother-in-law Bill Loos. Family left to mourn her passing her husband Ralph Thomas; children, Blair Thomas spouse Mildred (nee Mouw), Roger Thomas spouse Martha (nee Huck), Dawn Phillips spouse Wes Phillips, Stephen Thomas spouse Lisa (nee Weidmann); seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister Ivy Loos and many nieces and nephews also sister-in-law Carol Struch, Ruth Thomas spouse of Glen Thomas, Lorna's bridesmaid and dear friend Myrna Haley and many more in-laws and friends. Lorna was raised on a farm at Elk Hill, Saskatchewan and took her high school at Briercrest Bible School in Saskatchewan. She came to Selkirk, MB in 1952 to take a nursing course at Selkirk Mental Hospital where she also met her husband to be. Lorna served her Lord at Wayside Gospel Chapel at Grand Marais, MB.
