BRUCE PETER MCGREGOR On August 14, 2016, Bruce Peter McGregor passed away at his home, with Bonnie, his loving wife of 41 years, at his side. He is survived by his wife Bonnie (Fuz), his daughter Chelsea (Chris), son Tyler (Sydney), and his grandsons Jaxson, Dane and Tyler and Sydney's first son, due later this month. He is also survived by his sisters Heather, Bonnie (Ron), his niece Cheryl (Victor), and several extended family members. Bruce was predeceased by his parents Anne and George, his brother-in-law Roland Morin, his brother-in-law Al Harrower, and his nephew Tim Harrower. Bruce was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was born and raised in Winnipeg and later raised his own family just outside of the city he called home. In 2004 Bruce moved to Kenora, Ontario, and spent 11 wonderful years on Black Sturgeon Lake in the dream home that he and Bonnie designed and built. In 2015 Bruce made one final move and spent this past year in beautiful Sicamous, BC. Bruce was a pioneer in the water treatment industry for 17 years, acquiring FilterSoft in the early 90's and turning it into one of the leading companies of its kind. After selling FilterSoft, Bruce moved on to work in areas more suited to his true passion - the outdoors and recreational vehicles. He spent countless hours heading up the Sunset Trail Riders Snowmobile Club in Kenora, as well as keeping busy with recreational vehicle sales. He recently retired to Sicamous, BC, however remained active in managing the local Marina. Bruce had a passion for meeting new people and the unique ability to remember the names and specific details about everyone he met. Bruce will be loved and missed by his family and everyone who had the pleasure of calling him a friend. Memorial service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, on Monday, August 22, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. A light lunch will follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bruce's name to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
