Yesterday, I was talking with a friend and they were mentioning how they would like to get their hands on a vintage Blue Bomber jersey from the 80's. I exclaimed that I had an official one, and pulled it out. As I grabbed it, I was flooded with memories. It was Vince who got this jersey for me. It was 1984 and he was working for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as a water boy. He was so proud and excited to be working for them. One of the perks is that he could order official Blue Bombers jerseys. He made sure when he ordered, he got one for me as well! I remember the look on his face when he handed it to me -sheer joy! I was so grateful! I was a season ticket holder and wore that jersey to every game, and even to the Grey Cup! That jersey has become one of the very few items I have never gotten rid of. Thank you Vince! Vince was so happy then, he was so proud to be working for the Bombers! That is a memory of Vince I will cherish forever! - Posted by: Darcy Davies (Friend) on: Nov 05, 2016

It was of great sadness in learning that Michael passed away. He brought many light-hearted conversations to the office 2-3 times a week. His desire to bring on a smile in each of us far out weighed the smiles he had within himself. Although a restless soul, he tried very hard to manage defeat -which in the end, defeat managed him. The pathway of isolation was his choice to walk unintentionally, as he wished no-one to walk the same path. He just struggled immensely to swim above water. He wished no ill-harm upon another and walked away from those he loved dearly including his twin girls; whereby, he mentioned them in his thoughts dearly with much pride, open heartache & loss. Perhaps now, he'll be able to watch over them with a healed heart while sending many treasureable blessings to them. It was my great pleasure in serving you Michael, & my personal pleasure in meeting you. Rest Easy my friend - rest easy. - Posted by: Leza Jacques (Client) on: Sep 23, 2016
