WERNER JUNGHANS On Sunday, August 21, 2016, at the Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, Werner Junghans passed away at the age of 90 years. Werner was born in Weimar, Germany on January 27, 1926, son of Sophie and Otto Junghans. In 1949 he married Erna Heim in France, and in 1952 they immigrated to Canada, settling in Winnipeg. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 67 years, Erna; two sons, Marc (Robyn) of Calgary and Raymond (Elizabeth) of Erin, Ontario. Also surviving are his nine grandchildren: Alysa (Chris), Kathleen, Thomas, Alexandra, Monique, Rachelle, Ryan, Kyle and Shanyn. A memorial service will take place Friday, August 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery.) Interment at Brookside Cemetery.
