JOE GALLO 1979 - 2016 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of our beloved father, son, brother and uncle, Joe Gallo. Joe leaves behind his three beautiful daughters, Katarina, Talia and Gabriella, who were the loves of his life. Joe is also survived by his parents Tony and Cathy; his grandparents Giuseppe and Giuseppina Iuliano; his partner Nikki; his brother Frank; sister-in-law Francesca and his nephews, Matthew and Daniel. He will also be dearly missed by his daughters' mother, Andrea and numerous family and friends. Joe was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Frank and Antonia Gallo. Joe was known for his ability to make friends with anyone, his joyful nature and his signature, contagious laughter. Over the past eight years Joe was the owner of Idle Wheels RV Park in Gimli. The park, and the people who spent their summers there, were an integral part of Joe's life. He loved "the park" and poured his heart and soul into making it the enjoyable and special place it is today. It won't be the same without him. Joe leaves an immense hole in the lives of his family and friends. He will never be forgotten. Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 25 at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. A private family burial will follow. Pallbearers will be Tony Torchia, Joey Torchia, Peter Gallo, James Gallo, Carmelo Vinci and Ryan Knutson. Honorary pallbearers are Joe's daughters, Katarina, Talia and Gabriella and his nephews, Matthew and Daniel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations towards the Gallo Girls' Education Fund at GoFundMe.com "Gallo Girls' Education Fund" (gofundme.com/2dw8jxdp).
