Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLORIA ACKERLEY 1940 - 2016 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gloria, on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Riverview Health Centre. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Travis, Gord and Alana (Gord); grandson Sean; and her sister Josephine (Nick) as well as nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Longer notice to follow in next Saturday's edition. Gloria was a wonderful and genuine person. We both got hired and trained together at Safeway only to find out we were also being placed in the same store.
