ROSE-MARIE SERA-MCKITRICK Rose-Marie Sera-McKitrick died Saturday evening September 10th, 2016 at the Riverview Health Centre after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rose-Marie is survived by Earle her husband of 54 years, daughter Kirstie Thrush (Douglas) granddaughter Miranda Thrush, son Craig with grandson Mathew Monaco and son Sean-Kelly... sister Barbara Jensen (Keith) of Merced, California and numerous nieces. The family moved from Raymond to Picture Butte and then to Coaldale where they operated a successful Farming and Feeding Operation and where Rose-Marie received her Primary and Secondary Education. She attended Mount Royal College in Calgary and for a time attended the Nursing School at St. Michaels Hospital in Lethbridge. She worked for the Lethbridge and District Planning Commission prior to her marriage in 1962. Rose-Marie always regretted not completing her nursing so in her 40's she went back to school and attended Red River College obtaining her LPN degree.
