  • Jake was a CHARACTER,,,could always be relied on to go for ONE BEER,, I have many memories of training and "party's" very considerate and generous to a fault, full of buggery, but in a good way.! I remember him telling me he worked on the railway,,,killed more cows, they never wanted for steak. He will be missed one of a kind from Sask. Enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. - Posted by: John Paterson (Partner in Crime) on: Sep 21, 2016

  • Dear Roberta, I am sorry to hear of Jake's passing. May your fond memories sustain you at this time. I understand you actually lost your partner sometime ago. That is so sad! I have so many wonderful memories of our time at WGH and, of, course our social gatherings as well. We were a unique bunch, Jake not being the exception. So many laughs and good times. Those treasured thoughts come to me many times. Would do it all over again (except, maybe, the cleaning after a morning in "92")! Sincerely Mary Ann.
