YVETTE CASSON (COOPER) (nee RICHARD) Yvette Casson passed peacefully, while surrounded by family, at Heritage Lodge on September 15, 2016 at 90 years of age. Yvette leaves to cherish her memory, her children: David Cooper, Jacqueline Goodman (Ed), Lynn Hogsden, Ricky Masik (Greg); 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, four sisters, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, David George Cooper, and her second husband James Carlisle Casson. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law Charles Hogsden. Yvette will be remembered as a loving and caring person who touched the lives of many people. She was a stay at home mother who enjoyed raising her family and teaching them the values and skills that they would need to succeed in life. In her younger days, Yvette was an avid seamstress, knitter, and crafter; always working on various projects for her family, gifts to others and donations for charity. Her beautiful smile and loving heart will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The children would like to thank the staff at Heritage Lodge for all of the care and support given to our mom. Her memorial will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street, with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Desjardins 204-233-4949 1-888-233-4949 www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca
