CAROLYN ANN HENRY (nee JONSSON) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Sanford, MB on September 7, 2016 at the age of 76 years. Carolyn was born on April 5, 1940 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was the third of five children born to Bardur and Lorna Jonsson. Carolyn was predeceased by an infant brother Christian; her parents; and sister Catherine Syvret. Carolyn also lost her husband of 34 years, Charles, in October 2007. She is survived by her brother William Jonsson (Vicki); and sister Pamela Jonsson; as well as children, David Everingham (Judy) of Ontario, Lesley Vier (Jim) of British Columbia, Lorna Kellington (Dale), and Leigh Knutson (Garrett); and grandchildren, Jenny, Kenny (Carla), Calvin, Diana, Sydney, Kiersten, and Luke as well as great-grandchildren, Matthew, Mikayla, Carter, Taylor, Bailey, Austin, and Tyrell. A celebration of Carolyn's life will take place on Friday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Family viewing to occur at 12:30 p.m. Public viewing to begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow immediately following the service at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. The family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital ICU for their compassionate care as well as Pastor Ernest Goertzen for ministering during this difficult time.
