DONALD GILMORE WRIGHT On September 15, 2016 Donald Gilmore Wright died peacefully in his home at the age of 75. He was predeceased by his parents Frances and Ernest Wright and sister Maxine Axford (Wright).  He leaves to mourn:  his brother William Wright (Cheryl):his sons David (Olivia) and Daniel (Sheila); his grandchildren, Samuel, Orlando and Andrew and his nephews Jason (Kelly); Thomas (Kristy); Robert and niece Melanie (Kenneth) as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.  He will be dearly missed by friends and colleagues in the Clubhouse community on Sherbrook and Columbus Manor on Goulet. Donald was born on February 8, 1941 in Winnipeg and spent his early years in Hudson, Ontario. He spent many summers down at West Hawk Lake where he enjoyed puttering around with friends and family. During the latter part of his life, Donald resided at Columbus Manor. He was loved by many, his memory will be in our hearts forever. We would like to thank the staff at Clubhouse of Winnipeg and St. Boniface Hospital who took such good care of him. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I knew 'Donnie' socially from the time I was 18 and later on we dated and were engaged. He was always a gentle intelligent kind man. Later on when I visited Winnipeg and we were both single I saw him socially a few times and though he was struggling, he was managing his life. My condolences go out to his family at this time, especially his sons and brother Bill, who was also one of our crowd. - Posted by: TERRY (BROWNRIGG) ALEXANDER (Past fiance) on: Sep 22, 2016
