Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE KOMARCHUK November 20, 1919 - September 19, 2016 We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Anne Komarchuk, after a lengthy illness at age 96. In answer to her prayers, she passed away in her sleep, with her daughters at her bedside. Anne was predeceased by her loving husband Paul, her son-in-law Alan, her siblings Theresa, Helen, Catherine, Frank and Joseph. She will be forever missed by daughters Karen Hardy and Ellie Willis (Lorne Kotyluk), grandchildren Scott Willis (Isabella), Kristen and Alison Hardy, and nieces and nephews. Mum was born and raised in Winnipeg. She cared for her father and two brothers after her own mother died at a young age. In 1942 she married Dad, and shortly after they began raising their young family. Mum took pride in being a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Her motto was if something was worth doing, it was worth doing well. One of Mum's greatest joys was spending time in her yard in East Kildonan. When she could no longer take care of her home, she moved to Concordia Village where she spent 10 happy years and developed many special friendships. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 24 at 11:00 a.m. at The Village Centre, Concordia Village, 1125 Molson Street. Thank you to all those who provided special care to Mum during her final months at the Charleswood Care Centre. every one goes through life with having a favorite aunt, an aunt who exudes love, class and elegance , also one who never blames but only offers love, that was my aunt Anne Komarchuk she has now been brought home to the arms of her lord to be reunited to her loving husband Paul plus many of her friends, I know she will be smiling down at her wonderful daughters Elle & Karen of whom she was so very proud of as they without doubt will continue the journey of love in the same family tradition of their parents(love with out conditions or boundaries) - Posted by: robert Dymont (nephew) on: Sep 23, 2016

I want to share my prayers and thoughts to the family of my Dear Friend Anne, Anne was one of the sweetest friends I have ever met. She always opened her door to me and made me feel so welcome anytime. She was also the most pretty and elegant lady. No matter how she felt, she always had a smile and dressed up everyday and looked so lovely...And always had a beautiful smile for everyone.
