Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN ANTHONY MARTIN John Martin passed away suddenly on September 17, 2016 at the age of 73. John was predeceased by his parents John and Stella, and his brother Don. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Gary), son, Jason (Erica) and adored granddaughter Lily. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Bev; nephew, Brian and great-niece, Brittany; nephew, Greg (Bridget) and great-nephew, Kelly. John started his career as a draftsman and then purchasing agent for Chicago Blower (Northern Blower). He retired from Manitoba Pool Elevators and was currently working at NAPA Auto Parts. John enjoyed cycling and was passionate about all genres of music, especially opera. He looked forward to Mondays with David and Tony and Tuesday movies with John. Thank you for being such good friends. The family would especially like to thank David Oberding for his help and support at this very difficult time. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
