JANIS BOONSTRA November 18, 1945 - September 25, 2016 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Janis Boonstra, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, at her home in Meadows, at the age of 70. Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. I am so sorry to hear of the death of Janis. I knew her as a highly respected caregiver when I was employed as a Home Care Coordinator in the Stonewall office. The Janis that I worked with was a very caring, sensitive, empathetic gal. I enjoyed getting to know her and know she will be missed dearly by her family and friends. We have known each other for a very long time and always enjoyed seeing you on our trips to Meadows at dances, golf reunions etc. You always cooked a birthday cake for me ( LVG )at our annual golf reunions.
