Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET HOLDER With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Margaret (Peggy) Holder. Mom slipped away quietly, in her sleep, in the wee hours of Thursday morning, September 22, 2016. Mom was born in Ireland June 8, 1929, and immigrated to Canada in February of 1957. Mom and Dad chose this country to raise their family and were proud Canadians. Mom has now gone to join Dad and two of her sons Fred and Joseph Jr. She leaves behind her children Robert Norris (Bob and Lyne), David and Sandy, Alanna - Joy Holder Riches, daughters-in-law Linda (Fred) and Florence (Joseph). She also leaves her grandchildren Melissa, Sarah, Aileen, Joseph, Rory, Jennifer, Madeline, Drew, and Timothy; and great-grandchildren Joseph, Naveah and Adaline. Mom enjoyed a long career with the Winnipeg School Board #1 and an equally long retirement. In her younger years and through her life she was very involved with the Eastern Star Patricia Chapter where she developed many close and long lasting friendships. I was so sad to hear of Aunty Peggy's passing. I remember her visiting the UK many years ago and my visit to Canada with my daughter Kay when you all made us so welcome. The one thing that I will always remember about Mrs. Holder was her smile and joyful spirit! She was a mother to me and counseled me at times when I needed a word. I have fond memories of her and Mr. Holder! God bless! Our loss is heaven's gain! The Lord bless the Holder clan, the Lord keep the Holder clan, the Lord make His face shine upon the Holder clan and be gracious to the Holder clan, the Lord lift up His countenance upon the Holder clan, and give the Holder clan peace!
