Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERIKA URSULA JULIETTA REIMER 1927 - 2016 Erika passed away peacefully at Oakview Personal Care Home on September 26, 2016. She was predeceased by her daughter Christa. She leaves to mourn her husband Cornelius, Siggy (Carol), Gatch (Burma) Mingi, Gela (Leo) Manna, Margaret (Tim), Lisa (Drew), Michelle (Ernie) Robert; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and many friends. Erika was born March 24, 1927 in Pirna, Germany. She immigrated to Canada with her husband Cornelius and her daughter Christa in 1948. Mom loved animals and flowers, she liked to sing, dance, play cards, and drink beer. She always thought of others before herself. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and she always welcomed people into her home. She enjoyed seeing everyone happy. To abide by her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111

My deepest condolences to all of the family Erika was truly an amazing women who always put up with us teenagers running in and out she let us sleep there party there and the great thing was she partied right along with us. We loved her I loved her like my own mom. So sorry to hear the news today that Erika had passed away Monday. I never met her personally but I knew her well. From her daughter Lisa's kind words. Fiesty and fun was her Mom.
