MARGARET ANNE MCCART REID (NICOL) Peacefully on September 26, 2016, Margaret Reid passed away at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Don, she is survived by three children, Robynne (Greg), Jeff, and Andrea (Abe); three grandsons, Jason (Janice), Jamie and Zach, also great-grandchildren, Evan and Allison, siblings, Phamie (Dave), Alex (Hazel) and Eva, numerous nieces and nephews, close friends Norv and Arl. Margaret was born April 2, 1930 in Winnipeg. She grew up in Elmwood and moved to Dugald when she married Don, they were married for 58 years. Margaret loved music and it played an important role in her life from early childhood and right to the end. From singing solos, to being church organist, to choirs and quartets and even critiquing Zach's music videos. Sometimes she liked nothing better than to spend the day with a good book and a cup of tea. The greatest loves of her life were always Don and her family. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank all the staff at Middlechurch, especially Heidi for all they did for her. A Celebration of her life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. Always loved, Never to be forgotten.
