MARJORIE ELISABETH MERNER Marjorie Merner passed away peacefully on September 30, 2016 at Concordia Place Care Centre at the age of 96 years. Visitation will be held in the Klassen Funeral Home on Wednesday October 5, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 1897 Henderson Highway. A Memorial Service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy, on Friday, October 7, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. A longer obituary will follow in Tuesday's paper. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.   • I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs Merner. I have very fond memories of many sleepovers as a young girl with my friend Sandra. I am not sure of the date when I last saw Mrs Merner at McIvor mall but I sat down with her and had a nice chat about our families.
