KARL JOHN LENCHUK February 24, 1939 - October 1, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karl (John) Lenchuk into a peaceful rest with his family by his side. Karl was a loving and devoted husband to Pat of 48 years (married October 21, 1967), wonderful father to Jeffrey (Tracey), Michelle (Bart Palmer), Cheryl and best Papa to his only granddaughter Desirae Lenchuk. He will also be remembered by his sister Elaine, brothers Joseph, Lawrence, Glen and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dad worked for Trans Canada Airlines (later Air Canada) as an Aircraft Technician for 40 years before retiring in 1997. Dad enjoyed travelling with Mom to various destinations with Florida and Hawaii being his favourites. He also enjoyed family vacations, family dinners, birthday parties, fishing, gardening, coffee at Tim's and puttering around the garage. He was always willing to help anyone who needed a hand. A memorial service and celebration of Karl's life will be held Friday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. "You will be forever in our hearts" For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.
