Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM ERNEST STEVENSON March 8, 1933 - October 5, 2016 After lengthy illness Bill passed away on October 5, 2016. He was the only child of his parents William (Red) and Lily Stevenson née Wilkinson. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth, and their children Bill, Patricia, Marjorie (Laurence) and Michael (Rachelle); and five wonderful granddaughters, Ava, Grace, Lily, Eilish, and Skye. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his foster son Leo. Bill was a man of principle. He was gentle, humble, caring and generous. His family meant everything to him. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd on 933 Summerside Avenue, across from Fort Richmond Collegiate. Should friends so desire, donations could be made to Médecins Sans Frontières, PO Box 1269 Station K, Toronto M4P 9Z9 or to Canadian Foodgrains Bank 400-393 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, R3B 3H6.
