GERALD ROBERT BOYD (GERRY) July 30, 1939 - September 28, 2016 Peacefully, Gerry passed away in Nanaimo, BC at the age of 77 years. He was predeceased by his parents Reverend Fred and Marjorie Boyd, and brother Ted. He is survived by his wife Myrna, his brothers Fred (Linda), John (Andrea), and Jim (Janet), his sisters Marjorie Holt (Ross), nephew and godson David Boyd (Erin), nieces Karen Boyd and Dana Holt (Enzo), and sister-in-law Vicki Kennedy. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, Myrna's family, and fellow members of AA which he was a loyal member for 36 years. Gerald was employed by the B.C. Forestry Department where he was a cartographer located in Victoria, Sechelt, Williams Lake, Duncan and Nanaimo where he retired.
