PATRICIA ANNE HALLICK
Date of Passing: Oct 02, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA ANNE HALLICK (nee NASKAR) 1943 - 2016 Peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2016 our beloved Pat passed away, with her family holding her and singing by her side. Pat was our treasured wife, mom, sister, Ammy, aunty and friend. Pat will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her husband Barry, daughters Kim, Crissy (Tim) and Jodi, son-in-law Jim, grandchildren Jennine, Sam and Simon, sister Monica (Dave), brother Dan, daughter Susie (Scott) Sam, Brodie, Everett and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Pat devoted her entire life to her family. She supported her daughters' activities by being the Sunday school teacher and Superintendent, the President and leader of Brownies and Girl Guides all while working midnight shifts at CIBC. Everyone instantly loved Mama Pat and she made everyone feel welcome in the Hallick home. She was tremendously proud of her grandchildren and always wanted to know every detail of their lives. There was nothing that gave her greater joy than bragging about all of their accomplishments. Our family traveled in packs, you rarely saw one without the other. Family time at Winnipeg Beach, Rainbow Stage and two weeks at the lake every summer were just some of the family get togethers that she cherished the most. Her Barrykins was her best friend and the love of her life. They were inseparable and married for 50 beautiful years. They spent many wonderful hours in various curling clubs around the province, supporting Barry's curling career. Pat lost her precious daughter Tracey five years ago. Although our hearts are aching, we know she has her arms wrapped around her beautiful brown eyed girl in heaven. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. I know Pat was so proud of each and every one of you! I worked with Pat for many years and we found that we were the only two that liked iceberg lettuce with mayo - it was so funny. Pat always told alot of great stories and was always a pleasure to be around. I know she is with her Daughter in Heaven looking over her family whom she will see again one day. Rest in Peace Pat! - Posted by: Kelly Brown (Co-worker) on: Oct 14, 2016

I remember Pat as an outgoing, friendly person with a beautiful smile and sparkling brown eyes. I had the pleasure of teaching Pat's four daughters while on staff at Radisson School and found her to be a very supportive parent. I always enjoyed our parent-teacher conferences, greatly appreciated Pat's wonderful sense of humor and her great pride in her girls' accomplishments. My condolences to the entire Hallick family - I know you will all miss Pat very much but that you have many wonderful memories to cherish. - Posted by: Darlienne Black (Acquaintance) on: Oct 09, 2016

I would like to pass on my condolences to Barry and his family. I was very lucky and honoured to have curled with and against Barry for many years. Pat and "the girls" were always there to cheer him on. So many great memories with Barry and Pat at the clubs. - Posted by: Brad Childe (Fellow curler and teamamte) on: Oct 08, 2016
