NANCY TOPLEY Peacefully, at the age of 90, our dear mother and nana, Nancy, passed away on October 7, 2016 at Tudor House Personal Care Home, in Selkirk, MB. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Phil (Denise), Maxine (Hart) and Don (Jacqueline); grandchildren, Robyn (Matt), Kristie (Brad), Aaron, Alli, Jarret and six great-grandchildren. Nancy was born and raised in England and had much pride and love of her heritage. She came to Canada as a war-bride and after brief stays in Morden and Ontario, she settled in Selkirk, where she raised her family and established many friendships. Nancy became a familiar face at Gibbs drug store, where she worked for 20 years. She enjoyed reading, writing, baking, a lively game of cards, coffee and shopping trips with friends and family. She'll also be remembered as a wonderful nana, who will hold a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Tudor House for their care and kindness. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held. If so desired, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in Nancy's name.
