FLORANTE ALEJANDRO 1958 - 2016 Florante peacefully passed away, with family at his side, on October 8, 2016, at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 58. Florante was predeceased by his father Domiciano, mother Beatrice and sister Liberty. Florante will be lovingly remembered by his wife Remy; his two daughters, Kristina and Kathrine; his siblings: Esmeraldo (Bhelma), Gloria, Arturo (Nenette), Isagani (Ine), Febe (Rino) and Abner (Tonette); his nieces and nephews, numerous relatives in the Philippines, and extended family and friends. Florante was born on August 21, 1958 in Angono, Rizal Philippines. He immigrated to Winnipeg, MB in 1980 with his parents and siblings. Florante and Remedios were married in 1989. In his life, Florante enjoyed spending quality time with all of his family. Florante's family wishes to thank St. Boniface Hospital ICMS and Palliative Care Unit. They also wish to thank the Seven Oaks Hospital Hemodialysis Unit. Lamay will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West Saint Paul, MB on Thursday, October 13, 2016 and Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 midnight (both days). There will be prayers on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Glen Eden Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016, at St. Anthony of Padua, 250 Burrin Ave., Winnipeg, MB, with interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery.
