Genny is predeceased by her husband Kurt. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Wolfgang, his wife Cecile Bissonnette, grandsons, Karl and Nicolas; her daughter Christine Wood; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Germany. A Service of Remembrance to celebrate Genny's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 from Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Avenue, Winnipeg. I have many fond memories of this lovely careing lady.She and her husband Kurt helped in my becoming a better person .We met when I was a close friend of Christine and Wolfgang. I thank God for having our paths converge. Our years together lead me to becoming a better man and father and Husband and friend.I always called her Mrs Hausler and Mr Hausler giving them respectful caring like they gave to me. We have known both Kurt and Genny for the past 40 years as friends at the Lake. After Kurt's passing we carried on our friendship with Genny's for many happy years.She will be sadly missed. It's been too many years since I last saw u, I remember u well! I'm saddened by your passing! my grandmother brought me over for visits when I was little, and u made delicious treats and you were very nice to me when I was there. I will remember u forever!
