GERALDINE MOODIE (nee BEATON) February 22, 1931 October 11, 2016 Peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 Geradline Moodie passed away at the age of 85. Geraldine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years Gordon; her children, Debbie (Ron), Randy (Sherry), Lori (Phil) and Dawn (Wes); five grandchildren, Colleen (Chris), Shannon (Shane), Paul (Nichole), Richard (Samantha) and Rachel (Mauricio); four great-grandchildren Calista, Derek, Luke and Brooklyn; and surviving sister Georgina Wasio, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her mother Grace and father William Beaton and nine sisters and brothers. Geraldine cherished the time she spent with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Geraldine was creative, intelligent, funny, thoughtful and compassionate. She was very meticulous and organized. She spent her time serving others. She was a great mother, wife, good friend and neighbour. She was one of those people who made a difference in other people's lives. Funeral services will take place Monday, October 17 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Geraldine's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Sweet Dreams Beautiful Lady
