Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGWENDOLINE BROOKES Gwen passed away September 27, 2016 at her residence. Gwen was predeceased by her beloved husband Earle in 1985; father and mother, Thomas and Julia Cross; sister Rita Robertson and brother-in-law Fred Robertson. She is survived by her nephew Don; sister-in-law Georgina Wilding (Jim); brother-in-law Roy and families. Gwen worked for many years with the Provincial Government. Earle and Gwen were very active in square dancing and she continued on with the activity for a number of years after Earle's passing with her special friend Alvin Hewitt, who predeceased her in 1993. At Gwen's request there will be no service. Interment will be at Brookside Cemetery beside her husband Earle.
