I lost track of Art many years ago & now (March 2022) I googled his name and found that he had passed. I met Art when we lived next to each other in Erin Mills, Mississauga. We both target shot @ the Peel Handgun Club in Brampton. We went on several moose hunting trips. Art, being the butcher cut the meat. I & my wife Ann visited Art & his wife (Sue) many times when they moved to Streetsville. Our kids played with theirs. It was very sad when Art's wife passed quickly in the hospital. I never saw Art after that, I am sorry to say. During my time with Art, I gradually learned he was a basic but a smart man. Many lessons learned from him that I remember today, like " If trouble is in your life, deal with it, don't ignore it." I always have good thoughts of Art, my old friend. I never really knew my father too well although over the few or so years ago since he moved back to Manitoba I was able to get to know him more than I have in the past 47 years of my life, if there is anything that I wish I could of inherited from him was if I could dream it, I could do it, he wanted to make music and he did, he wanted to be a biker and he did, and he wanted to be married and he did 3 times, lol. I'm sure my brothers and sisters would agree that he might not of been the best father or husband in the world, they'd have to agree that he was definitely an unforgettable presence when ever he was in or out of your life. I'll never forget his sense of humour or his infectious laugh. Love u pop, and see u shortly. Chad Waltbauer - Posted by: Chad Waltbauer (Son) on: Jul 23, 2017
