RONALD WILLIAM DROBOT 1945 - 2016 With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son, brother and friend, Ronald Drobot, on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 71. He was predeceased by his father John and sisters, Lorraine and Janet. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Helen; mother Mary Ash (Drobot); siblings, Dona (Gary), Alan (Shirley), Dennis, Marie (Rob), Nick (Colleen), Dale and Charlene Drobot; the Ash family, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Ron will always be remembered for his great sense of humour and practical jokes. He would always be there for anyone in need. Special thanks to Bob and Audrey Wasnie, Leonard and Eleane Branyk, and their families for all the support shown at this difficult time. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Interment and reception to follow. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ronald's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.   • I was saddened to learn of Ron's death. I offer sincere condolences to Helen and the Drobot family as they grieve their loss. Ron worked at Driver & Motor Vehicle Licensing with my husband Earl.Ron was often a visitor in our home and my family and I remember fondly Ron's playing of the accordion. These were fun times with so many happy memories. Ron always had a smile and joke for all. He will be sadly missed within his family circle and by countless friends.
