Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEVIN MACKENZIE PETERS March 26, 1997 - October 14, 2016 Kevin left us way too soon, he was only 19. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met with his unique sense of humour and childlike innocence throughout his life. Kevin never worried about the future, its as if he somehow knew it wasn't necessary. When a person passes so young and suddenly, he or she is an example to other young people about how precious life is. Kevin is sadly missed by his mom and dad, Darlene and Ken Peters, his uncle Todd Peters and grandma Susan (Doug) Cranstone from Oakbank, grandma Josephine Smelski from Dauphin, grandfather Gary Peters of Winnipeg, uncles and aunts: Ken and Helen Smelski, David and Mabel Smelski of Calgary, and Ray and Jeanette Smelski of Kelowna, and many cousins, students and teachers of Oak Park High school, co-workers and management at Shaw Technical Support, and many friends and neighbours in Charleswood. A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at Assiniboia Downs, 3975 Portage Avenue on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with reception immediately following.
