Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERARDA DIDOMENICANTONIO (nee MALIZIA) 1927 - 2016 Peacefully on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, Berarda Didomenicantonio passed away. Berarda was predeceased by her loving husband Elia; and is survived by her loving three children, Diana (Joe); Robert (Kathy); and Lucia (Fernando); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michelle, Nicole, Amanda, Elliot, Adam and Alexander and spouses; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister in Winnipeg, Renata Menei and family, and two sisters in Italy, Domenica and Maria; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Berarda and Elia were married on October 26, 1953. They, along with their children immigrated to Canada in 1967. She enjoyed working in her garden, going for long walks, cooking and most of all having her family over for Sunday dinners. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Meadowood Manor for their compassion and kindness. Viewing will be held Saturday, October 22 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., followed by entombment at Waverley Memorial Gardens. Everyone loved your Nonna.....she didn't know much English, but she knew a lot. She was always very welcoming with her hugs and a big smile. She was loved by your family so very much and know that she is smiling down on all of you with peace and contentment.
