I just found out today that Barrington had passed. I hadn't seen Barrington in many years but I still remember him well from my classes at John Taylor Collegiate. He was a person of great personal integrity and humility. I feel very fortunate to have known him. He made teaching worthwhile. Rest in peace Barrington. I remember Barrington very well from when he first came to JT. He was very appreciative of my help to him in settling in to the school and presented me with a gift of appreciation. It was a pen holder with sea life shells embedded in a clear plastic. I still use it today and will forever recall its significance and meaning.
