Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEARLE HENRICKSON Peacefully on October 20, 2016, Earle Henrickson, beloved father of Laurie Jean Raynaud (Raymond) and Stuart Alan Henrickson (Jackie), passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 84 years. In addition to his loving children, Earle will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Katherine Lydia and Nicole Germaine Raynaud, and Samantha, Jennifer and Sarah Henrickson, sister-in-law Stephanie, his nieces Gail and Gwen Hatch, and Leslie Hale (Mike), and his nephews Grant Hatch (Shellie) and Raymond (Carol) and David Henrickson. Earle was predeceased by his parents, John and Jensina, brother George, Laurie and Stuarts mother, Virginia (Jean) Miller, as well as his second wife, Helen (nee Stranger). He will also be sadly missed by all of his family and friends in Selkirk, MB as well as Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Earle was proud of his children and his grandchildren and their accomplishments. Earle was born on October 27, 1931 in Winnipeg. After serving in the Naval Reserve; he went to work for an insurance company, where he met and married Jean on December 27, 1954. They purchased their first home together in East Kildonan and started their family soon after. Earle was generous with his time to family and friends, and was always the first to offer assistance to someone in need. He loved driving, operating a milk truck, later operating his own taxi and finally driving transit for the City of Winnipeg. Earle also loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit Egypt, Abu Dhabi, and Hawaii as well as numerous parts of Canada and the U.S. A service to commemorate his life will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with a reception following. Flowers are gratefully appreciated and can be sent to Chapel Lawn Funeral Home or a donation in memory of Earle can be sent to The Alzheimer Association of Winnipeg, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
