Verna and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Jim was certainly a fair minded boss, fun and patient when it came to Garth's pranks (the dead duck on Jim's desk). Another story when we were neighbours was the invasion of grackles to our yards. Lots of good memories should flow forward to help you at this time. We are deeply sorry to hear about the death of Jim. He was a first rate Manager and Boss always looking out for everyone. It goes without saying that he was a good man. Our warmest condolences to you Verna and your loved ones. - Posted by: Shirley Krocker & James A'Bear (Co-workers at Air Canada) on: Nov 06, 2016

While Uncle Jim was not my uncle by blood, he was my uncle in every other way. I'm relieved that he's at peace, but he will be missed. Sending love to Aunt Verna, Scott, Bruce and their families from the whole Teel clan. xo - Posted by: Laura Allardice (Almost-niece) on: Nov 06, 2016

Auntie Verna I am so sorry for your loss, I can honestly say I knew uncle Jim my entire life and he always made me smile. I remember all the times we used to get together when we were little and Scott, Bruce, Tammy and I would have so much fun while you adults were playing cards. Especially the time when Tammy split her head open and you and mom took her for stitches while uncle Jim and dad and the boys stayed at the house so you could get your card game in when she got back. Ken and I also enjoyed your visits with us here in Texas, it was nice to have you come to our house for dinner and cards. I love you both and my heart aches for all of you! He will be missed. - Posted by: Terry-Lynne Hause (McPherson) (god daughter ) on: Nov 05, 2016

I grew up just down the street from the Ormistons. Scott was older and Bruce was younger than me, but we spent lots of time together, back when kids would spend the whole day outside playing. Mr. Ormiston was always nice to me (we Jims have to stick together). More than once, when Mrs. Ormiston called for him, I mistakenly answered.... - Posted by: Jim Beatty (Former Neighbour) on: Nov 05, 2016

I loved how my uncle seemed like such a tough guy but really just a softy under that exterior. I'm glad your at peace Uncle, and even though we didn't have a lot of contact once we grew up the memories of camping and being such a great friend to my mom and dad will always stay with us. I needed to say goodbye and this seems fitting. We will take care of Aunt Verna, see you when we all return home. Hug my sister she is so happy to see you.
