Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTOMO VIDMAR It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Tomo Vidmar on Monday, October 31, 2016 at the age of 83. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years Slavica; his sons Joseph, Michael, and John; daughter-in-law Nehlina (Joseph) and granddaughters Melanie and Stephanie; sister Maria and Ruza; brother Milan and numerous relatives in Croatia. Tomo was born June 14, 1933 in Donji Konsinj, Lika, Croatia. He arrived in Canada in 1957 working in the forestry, mining and construction trades. Tomo was a very hardworking, honest and humble man. His passion was working in his garden and yard, but above all, he loved being with his family, as they were the center of his life. Funeral will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations may be made in Tomo's memory to a charity of one's choice.
