RONALD BRUCE HORROX Ron, left us on October 27, 2016 to find peace from a challenging battle with cancer. Predeceased by parents Herb and Zora and his beloved pal Cubby. Survived by brother Tim, sister Roberta and nephew Braeden. Ron was a quiet, unassuming man, which is evident by the number of friends he had. He embraced small town living while working for Winnipeg Hydro in Pointe du Bois. 2006 seen early retirement to Ocean Falls, BC. Ron loved walking and traveling especially with Cubby by his side. Ron never wanted to leave Ocean Falls, truly a beautiful community of so many caring, wonderful people. Progression of cancer changed those plans. Immense gratitude to Darell, Dorothy, Ed and Tracy for helping Ron stay in Ocean Falls as long as possible. Thanks to Dr. Shearer (Bella Bella, BC); Dr Lefresne; staff at Jean C. Barber Lodge (Vancouver); Dr. Agostinho; Drs. and staff at CancerCare MB, HSC and Riverview who assisted in Ron's care. As per Ron's wishes cremation and interment have taken place. In lieu of flowers, Ron would of appreciated a donation to a local CancerCare lodge, cancer research or animal shelter. www.seasonsfunerals.ca
