A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 170 St. Mary's Rd., Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dale's memory may be made to the Church of Christ youth program. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.

Will miss you dearly and thought about often as always. Will never forget your hospitality back in 2007 when we went out there to bury Grandpa. I may not be be related by blood but no matter what you are my uncle. We had the privilege of seeing Dale and Sparky everyday at the Union Centre until Dale retired. Dale would leave Sparky with us while he did his work and nothing made us happier. Dale was a kind and gentle man who was totally dedicated to his students. He made a huge difference to his special students and make opportunities for a better life for many of them. He was always there for them and guided them through many difficult situations. I will miss Dale's ready smile and greetings. I was lucky to be visiting the Union Centre a short time ago when Dale was also visiting. It was my good fortune to have worked with Dale at John Taylor Collegiate. Dale was a fine and very dedicated teacher. You could not help but come away from his classroom and his students without feeling better then when you first arrived. He created an atmosphere in his classroom of great kindness, caring and encouragement. His contribution to his students was outstanding. My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends.
