HAROLD BRIAN TRUMP May 31, 1934 - November 4, 2016 With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dad, Harold Trump on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Dad is survived by his children Mike Trump, Pat Trump-Ragot (Carey Wusaty), Kelly Nicholson, Tim Trump and Terry Trump; four grandchildren Tiffany Sahulka (Mike), Brian Trump (Stephanie), Caroline Nicholson and Lucas Trump, and three great-grandchildren, Logan, Kayden and Venice. Dad also leaves his sister Joanne Klein and family in Denver, Colorado. Dad's last few years were filled with the challenges of dialysis but throughout it all he remained cheery, charming and positive and made many friends at the Seven Oaks Hospital Dialysis unit. His life at his home at Kildonan House was full of shared conversations, teasing with staff and a general enjoyment of living there despite his complaining about the cream soups and mushrooms Tanya tried to sneak in. Though we are saddened by losing Dad, we know that he will be greeted by his parents, Harold and Rita Trump, and his son-in-law Jim Nicholson, who we all know was his favourite, as Dad took him to Jamaica instead of one of us. We all know that was his plan all along even though Dad assured us that he just didn't want to cause problems by picking one of us. We are grateful for the time we had with Dad and the conversations he shared. The family would like to thank the Seven Oaks Dialysis-Unit One for all the care and compassion, and especially Dad's personal guardian angel Jackie Arnould who always had his back. To his friends and the staff at Kildonan House, Dad loved it there and we can never repay you all for your kindness. Marie, Dad bragged about his violets while referring to them as Marie's flowers. At Dad's request cremation has taken place. An informal celebration of Dad's life will take place in the private dining room of Kildonan House, 216 Edison on Wednesday, November 9 at 1:00 p.m. If you so wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • To the family of Harold My condolences to each of you for the loss of your dad. Myself and co-workers are going to miss him very much. He came for breakfast every morning at the Norvilla always on time around 7.30 am. every day. Had the same breakfast and his favorite table. omg if someone was sitting there I would politely tell them this table is reserved lol. Our cooks, if they saw him would start his breakfast. I used to have Friday and Saturday off, when I would see him on Thursday I would say see you on Sunday Harold he would laugh and say see you tomorrow. I would tell him no I am off on Friday. Well I would get called in on some Fridays and he would laugh and say I told you so. There was a time when he forgot about the time change. I came in and just happened to look on my right, guess who was sitting there your dad. He laughed and said good morning Mary Ann I got coffee on. Your dad was a very good regular customer of mine. He was very proud of all of you. I feel like part of his family. He talked of you all often. I am going to miss him and when I walk in to work I will turn to my right and look at his table and say good morning Harold - Posted by: Mary Ann (friend) on: Nov 09, 2016

  • Roy worked with Brian for many years at CP Rail , Sue met family thru Pat by working with her...Brian came to Selkirk park a few years back to visit us with Pat and we had a BBQ of hamburgers...He really enjoyed himself, and Roy and Brian sat talking about Railway, like they were still working there. Roy was able to have breakfast at the Brian table reserved just for him with Pat.. A tap on the table the waitress knew what Brian was looking for .....I was hoping to make it for breakfast with them in the near future but sadly that will not happen, but in our thoughts and prayers we will have breakfast with you Brian, You were a great man , wonderful father and a beautiful friend, go see my Dad Charlie he will show you around, imagine two Bad Cats in Heaven ........ - Posted by: roy sue & chris petrachek (friends ) on: Nov 09, 2016
