HERBERT PETER BERRESHEIM On Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Herbert Peter Berresheim, aged 79 years of Selkirk, Manitoba, passed away He was born on March 25, 1937 in Oberzissen, Germany. He immigrated to Canada in 1975 where he took up farming and ranching in Beausejour, Manitoba which was his real passion. He was a great architect in Germany prior to coming to Canada. He loved dancing and he cared deeply for poor people of the world, even sponsoring several children through World Vision. He was especially fond of his mother and father Elizabeth (nee Daum) and George Berresheim who predeceased him. He leaves to forever cherish his memory his two daughters Marita and Samantha; granddaughter Susan; brother Walter (Irmgard); sister Maria (Alfons); very special friend Alice, and many nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada and Germany. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, Selkirk, Manitoba.
