Jean was born on May 10, 1922 in Hazelglen, Manitoba. She married and raised a family on a farm in the Garson area. Her retirement years were spent in Beausejour where she continued her love of gardening and entertaining all those who dropped in for a visit. We will always remember our mother for her strength, her gentle and cheerful disposition and her welcoming hospitality. Family gatherings, where her resourcefulness and creative cooking talents shone, will be among our many cherished memories. We are grateful for the wisdom and life skills that she passed on to us. We would like to thank all of Mom's caregivers for their love, support and companionship, especially during her last years at East Gate Lodge. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with viewing one hour prior to the service.
