Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOVAN DIMITRIJEVIC With great sadness we announce the passing of Jovan Dimitrijevic, the beloved husband of Maja, father of Bojana and Dragana, grandfather of Julia, father-in-law of Thomas and Joost and friend on November 17, 2016 at St. Boniface General Hospital at 85 years of age. Jovan was a well-known and respected sports journalist in his home country, former Yugoslavia. As of 1996 he was a proud citizen of Canada. He enjoyed playing tennis at the Wildwood Lawn Tennis Club where he was a member for almost 20 years. A Private service will be held on November 21, 2016 in Winnipeg, followed by a memorial service in the spring of 2017 in Jovan's home town of Sarajevo, according to his wishes. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Boniface General Hospital Palliative Care in Jovan's name. Dear Maja and family, We were so sorry to hear of Jovan's passing. We knew he had not been well lately and missed him at the tennis club this year. He was always one of the first ones out to play when the club opened and truly loved his tennis.
