MARGARET AGNES MILLIGAN It is with sad hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our cousin and friend Margaret on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home at the age of 86 years. Left to cherish Margaret's memory are numerous relatives. She will be sadly missed by cousins Marlene (Les), Barry, Dave (Janice), Joanne, Sandi (Kyle), Laura (Dave) and lifelong friend, Margaret Gouriluk. She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Sarah Milligan. Margaret had a long and fulfilling career as a registered nurse, having worked in different hospitals throughout Canada and the United States. She developed close friendships with many of her nursing classmates that lasted a lifetime. Margaret loved to travel and visited many countries. She enjoyed going to her cottage at Brereton, swimming, reading and playing crib. She was an avid Bombers and Goldeyes fan, going to many games. In her retirement, Margaret volunteered at the Christmas Cheer Board. A Celebration of Margaret's Life will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I worked with Margaret at St. Boniface Hospital, School of Nursing Library. She had the best TLC towards the many students we had each year. What I remember her best was that was always going to clean the basement. I offered to help many times [I am not a keeper| but she always declined saying "you just may get rid of something I'll later need" Did she ever get the basement done? She will be missed. Condolences to the family. - Posted by: Kathie Gaudes (friend & co-worker) on: Dec 03, 2016
